I had some challenges the week before seeing Rashida. Stress is too small of a word to describe what was happening. My blood pressure shot up so high, the dentist sent me me home instead of starting my teeth cleaning. Now enters Rashida….!!!! We had a session and I know I was tighter than violin strings at an opera. She didn’t fuss at me….she just worked on me. Got home…drank plenty of water and flushed my body (per Rashida’s orders).I felt better. I slept soooo much better. I went back to the dentist and there was a noticeable difference in my mood and blood pressure. My point of this is to say that self care should be paramount in our lives.
